This year has seen a big change for Unosquare Belfast, as we moved to our new home in the heart of Belfast City Centre at the end of March. We said goodbye to our Mays Chambers office, where we enjoyed 5 fantastic years and many great memories, to move to our new office in Bedford House. In our increasingly remote work setting, with most of us choosing a hybrid scheme, we wanted to have a workspace that better met our needs.
We are located on level 10, which is the top floor in the building, this means we get to enjoy the fantastic sweeping views of the city – we already know the balcony is going to be a big hit in the summer! The Office has 18 sit-stand desks, as well as a social working space, small meeting room, kitchen and social/breakout area. The building has many perks such as an in-house gym, where our members can take a break from coding for a lunchtime workout or HIIT class.
There is also a new coffee shop opening soon for us to get our daily caffeine fix and finally, one of Belfast’s most popular Pizza restaurants, Orto, is located on the ground floor – we’ve already tried them out for one of our office lunches and can confirm, they were delicious!
The new Unosquare Belfast Office ticks all the boxes by providing us with the perfect space to connect, collaborate and unwind. It also plays a pivotal role in supporting our London sales operation. We look forward to many more months of work and fun in this fantastic new space!
