Their platform relies on high-volume operational data to surface performance insights, cost efficiency, and system health across energy assets.
As their data footprint and reporting complexity grew, Luminace needed a modern cloud and data foundation; one that could support real-time visibility, reliable ingestion, and future AI-driven optimization without increasing operational overhead.

Challenge
Luminace’s existing infrastructure limited their ability to fully leverage operational data at scale. They needed to:

Solution
unosquare led a full cloud and data infrastructure modernization, designed to turn operational energy data into a scalable, reliable asset.
Using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), the team containerized the Python Django backend and React frontend, enabling consistent environments and elastic scaling. Redis clustering was implemented alongside PostgreSQL to optimize high-frequency data access patterns and reduce database load.
To ensure data reliability and system intelligence, Unosquare integrated Prometheus and Grafana, providing real-time monitoring, performance insights, and operational visibility across environments. Automated CI/CD pipelines via GitLab, combined with Terraform-based infrastructure automation, embedded DevSecOps practices directly into the delivery lifecycle.
This modernization transformed Luminace’s platform into a cloud-native, data-first system; enabling faster releases, better visibility into energy performance, and a foundation ready for advanced analytics and AI-driven optimization.
