Athena health delivers cloud-based software for EHR, patient engagement, revenue cycle, and population health. Historically reluctant to outsource, Athena turned to unosquare as their first nearshore partner, starting small, then expanding as trust and impact grew.
Two years in, we’ve become embedded across multiple domains: Collector, Scheduling, Telehealth, Claims, and Dental Claims, modernizing legacy systems while delivering new cloud-native solutions at speed.

We migrated legacy systems into AWS-based microservices, ensuring scalability and reliability while minimizing disruption. To strengthen delivery, we also embedded our Cloud COE for a seamless transition, and our QA COE to enforce automation and zero-defect releases. Given the sensitivity of healthcare data, our Data & Analytics COE supported clean, secure, and reliable flows across patient portals and claims systems.
This combination not only modernized critical platforms like Dental Claims and Scheduling but also enabled Athena to launch new patient-facing solutions faster, with confidence in both performance and compliance.
