Aetna came to us with a need for both a design system and an update of their patient portal.
We started with their existing body of design and conducted a UX Audit to driving alignment between disparate teams and stakeholders. We then created a baseline Design System as well as two themed versions for Aetna’s sub-brands.
In parallel, we redesigned their legacy patient portal, utilizing the new design system in the update.
